Aaron was a great man and a good friend. When I announced his name to perform on stage at the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival the crowd lit up! He had a magic way of entertaining people on TV and live on stage. I have posted on the first page of my website www.thewhitehousechefs.com in his memory a picture of him and I when we last saw each other in Atlantic City. I extend my sympathy to all of his family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Chef Guy Mitchell

Thank you, Aaron for the few years employment at the Tea House. I was the Bass Player of "The Chinese Blues All Stars" Blues Band. We played every Sunday. It was a great place, and Aaron was a great host/mgr, and would occasionly sit in with the band, singing and playing harp. It was always a lot of fun. My deepest condolences to the entire Song family.

Aaron's greatest joy was making other people happy. I've never known a more generous, entertaining person. I, as well as my family, had the pleasure of dining at the Tea House on many occasions. I also had the opportunity to play there often with my group "Gravity".
His legendary hospitality and graciousness dwells in a special place in all of us. Our heartfelt condolences to the family... The Payne family & Gravity.

Aaron's passing was quite the shock and surprise to me. He was one of the sweetest persons with one of the biggest and most generous hearts.

When Aaron heard the news about the death of my first husband; he asked me what we were doing for food at the gathering after the services. He asked if he could do the catering. When I tried to pay him for it; he refused to take 1 red cent from me.

Naturally when I remarried, there was no question in our mind where our Wedding reception would be - at The TEAHOUSE! (And yes, we happily paid and he accepted!!!)
:-)

Truly Aaron was one of a kind. My heart just broke when I heard the news. He will be truly missed. I love you Aaron. Please tell Chuck "Hi" for me. x/o Gena Gunter

Aaron's Family,
My last 24 hours have been filled with sadness and grief! Aaron was a close personal friend in High School and i was doing a name search on facebook when I learned the news! I remember the last time I saw Aaron, I believe it was 2000 or 2001 and it was at the tea house when my mother called in an order! I had just got off a 22 hour long haul from Thailand and when I walked in there was Aaron with that big infectious smile and a big hug! He was a great man and even though it had been years since I had seen him, he made it seem that we were still the best of friends! My sincere condolences and i will always be proud to have called Aaron my friend

I just saw this. I'm so sad. I worked with Aaron for a very brief time at the assisted living home in PV. in that short time I was able to observe a man that really loved what he did and more importantly who is did it for. Aaron you are truly missed! I'm a better person because of you.

This is a sad greeting from Sweden. Me and my boyfriend both tought that Aaron was such a nice person to follow at the Hells kitchen series. He was the first person without anger or hate against the others (at leat what we saw)and he was always so jolly. We didn't know that he had passed away until we google him. Even if we didn't know him as a person, May he rest in peace.

I can't believe that he died. Its shame too. I only know him from Hell's Kitchen. God bless this man.

Just stumbled across this page while I was searching for information on what Aaron was up to these days.
I did not know him at all, but from watching him on tv, I got the sense he had a big heart. Makes me sad and tearful that he's gone.

We are terribly sadden to hear about Aaron through my cousin, Dave. We were both shocked and surprised to hear about Aaron. We use to play racquetball together about 20 years ago, and his laughter and smile was quite contagious. He was always gracious and would invite us to his TeaHouse Restaurant for his dumplings. Our deepest sympathy to all of Aaron's family and friends.

You are an amazing chef and you have a great personality. The first time I saw you at Hell's Kitchen I thought you were the most nicest and most funniest person ever.
